What a game!

Hi Folks,

-----

For those of you that watched it, I don't have to tell you how wonderful the Super Bowl was last night.  YES, I actually got to watch the game.  There were five of us, counting the Pastor's wife, sitting in a space of about 3' wide, by maybe 10' long.  There was a bed in front of the TV, and we were all crouched around the bed on little plastic white chairs.  The Pastor had rigged a fan up to blow on the back of the TV, because his TV tended to just "go off" when it got heated up...and it WAS hot.  But MAN, what a game it was.

The first phase of the school in Puerto Cabezas is complete, except for the windows and doors.  We are actively seeking partners for the windows and doors right now, of course.  The second phase will begin in mid-March, we believe.  We covet your prayers for the resources to begin this second phase.  We also strenuously invite each of you to visit us in Nicaragua.  We would LOVE the opportunity to give you the grand tour of our little corner of the world.  We can help with logistical arrangements, if you like too.

We also covet your prayers for the adopted daughter of a close friend of ours in Puerto Cabezas.  Little Adriana has been having "spells" where she will just suddenly fall down.  She will just be playing, or walking along, and will simply keel over.  Adriana will be totally limp when this happens, and then as she begins to "come around" she has a bit of a disoriented, or "out of it" look to her face.  We think it may be epilepsy, but are not completely sure.  Adriana is currently in Managua, with her mother the Pastors wife, getting test done.  Please, please, please keep this little girl in your prayers.  Prayers are the most powerful medicine available to us, and we covet YOURS.  Pray with us, for Adriana.
