The "huelga" (strike) has ended...sort of.

Hi Folks,

Those of you that have expressed interest and have prayed for our situation here in Puerto Cabezas, Nicaragua, we want to say THANK YOU.

The strike has ended, sort of...grin! The strikers have moved to the outside of town, and are blocking the road where it splits between Waspam and Managua. There still is only the ONE ROAD out of here. But for now, the violence is over, and the planes ARE flying (the airport has reopened). So for now, we are back to normal.

We had a very nice baptism ceremony yesterday for a local church in the San Judas barrio. We went down to the river at Tuapi. What a blessed event that was.

We wish you ALL could have been HERE for it.
