Here's the "rest of the story"...(like in Paul Harvey's, "the rest of the story")

Hi Folks,

Well...it looks like the government of Nicaragua is going to FINALLY supply AT LEAST the fuel necessary to bring the PA23-250 (Aztec) to Nicaragua!

We were promised that the money would be deposited directly into our account last Wednesday...Now we figured that it wouldn't happen quite that quickly and we were right. HOWEVER...we are coming back to the States in anticipation of the next time we voyage out to Puerto Cabezas that it will be in Casa de Servicio's missionary airplane!

I have to confess that the prospect of bringing the airplane here without having the necessary funding in place to actually OPERATE is a bit daunting. We have ALSO been assured by those in power here in Nicaragua that the gasoline to operate the airplane WILL BE SUPPLIED.

I have to say though, that if it takes as long for them to supply the gasoline as it has for them to come up with the funds for flying it TO Nicaragua...well, let's just say that I am not getting ANY YOUNGER (smile).

Carolyn and I have been keeping very busy helping to coordinate the delivery of relief goods from the Church of God, World Missions to MANY, MANY outlying communities along the road to Rosita, and in the Miskito Cays by boat. The main coordinator has been Ryan Baker, the son of Richard Baker of World Missions and the Lazarus Foundation.

Ryan, although a young man, has done a fantastic job of keeping the supply lines moving...and in good order. I am impressed with this young man, and the way he facilitates large projects...much like his dad. I know that God has blessed the Baker family because of their Faith and Service to His Kingdom.

I will write more later...as Carolyn and I will be back in the States for about two weeks, as of tomorrow morning!

God Bless!

Dios le bendiga grandemente a su familia y ministerio.
