I may very well mess this one up (by leaving someone dear out)
I just want to let everyone know, that although Carolyn and I have been the "visible" part of Casa de Servicio's ministry...there have been MANY, MANY others that have helped in MANY, MANY ways.
I want to thank them for listening to God's leading and joining Carolyn and I in our missionary works.
We have also been supported by hundreds of others that have made the effort to keep our ministry in their prayer lives...THIS is an important part of what we do. We feel that NOTHING in God's kingdom may be accomplished without the participation and interaction of our prayer PARTNERS! Prayer is SUCH a powerful "tool". We consider prayer to be the "lynch-pin" of ANY ministry. I encourage each of you to please add our ministry to your prayer lists if Casa de Servicio (http://www.casadeservicio.org/) is not already on it. THANK YOU to each of our prayer partners for your enduring and effectual prayers. There have been too many times that prayer has had a significant impact on our Spiritual lives and our ministry to list them all.
EVERYONE that has supported us, both financially and Spiritually has had us in their prayers from time to time. In addition to those that have done both of those things there have been many PEOPLE in our lives that have helped to guide us through the channels of organizational structure that become necessary when being "fathered" by the Church of God. Did I say that right?
What I'm TRYING to say is that many people have made our lives easier with their help, from within the Church of God, and World Missions leadership.
I believe that I found a "Spiritual Mentor" in Roland Vaughn and I SERIOUSLY thank God for having met him. THANK YOU!
Vincent Castellani, and Rick Waldrop, have been and continue to be significant friends and participants in our ministry. Charles Lambert and Tim Hill, both of whom had a significant impact on our Spiritual lives and helped to guide us within the structure of the Church of God MUST be thanked for their time and efforts and guidance. THANK YOU!
Many, many people within the actual headquarters building have also had a direct impact and have helped in many ways, Ivellisse Acosta-Sierra, for her translating services and friendship. Richard Baker, for leadership in times of floundering. I wish I could adequately tell you how much the people in the different offices at the Church of God have helped. I don't know ALL their names, but each and every one of them have made walking into the Church of God, World Missions headquarters building like taking a deep breath of fresh air. I have sort of been listing these people by when I met them, not so much as in the impact that they have had on our ministry. THANK YOU, to each of YOU!
Carolyn and I have had SO MANY new friends help us out, some of which may now be counted as "old friends". The Cooke family in Florida, the Schiltz family in Florida, the Russell family in Tennessee, the Castellani family in Tennessee, the Knowles family in Tennessee, the Stevens family in Tennessee, the Oodle family in Tennessee.
NONE OF THESE PEOPLE HAVE EVER ASKED FOR THANKS, OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT. I DIDN'T ASK THEM FOR PERMISSION TO THANK THEM. I AM sure THAT each OF THEM WOULD SAY THE GLORY GOES TO GOD, AND IT DOES. But it is THEM that is following His leading, and so I thank them.
Many churches have helped as well. I will not list them because I don't want "internet people" knocking on their doors. But a HUGE THANK YOU goes out to each of them.

First and foremost of course...God, always. We thank God for taking poor creatures such as ourselves and deigning to make use of us. Although we are very imperfect creatures, full of imperfect human flaws...we will bravely follow God's call to complete this mission. It is God's call in our lives, and God's call in YOUR lives, to support Casa de Servicio, that makes it all work, for the betterment of His kingdom.
WE MUST thank the people that have donated funds to our ministry. It is a fact of THIS WORLD that one must have funds to conduct the "business" of ministry. Although no one at Casa de Servicio draws a salary of ANY KIND (of course), funds ARE necessary to continue to support the Miskito people in our ministry. As we begin the last few weeks of our "preparations" and actually make the move to Nicaragua we must pause for just a second and reflect on what brought us here, to this point. I cannot list each and every one of them here, on the internet, because I don't want anyone to be bothered with requests from others...each of you that DO DONATE know who you are...Carolyn and I extend a cordial, warm and very sincere THANK YOU to you!
