Flying House (Casa del Vuelo): Back from Wayne County

Well, we made it back from the heartland of Wayne County, Tennessee late Sunday night.

We had a truly glorious time there visiting Pastor Richard Bane in Collinwood, and Pastor Tim Owen in Waynesboro! I believe that attendance was down at all three services (two in the morning in Collinwood, and one Sunday evening in Waynesboro) due to 4th of July activities, but all in all the attendance was pretty good, and the support was astounding under the circumstances!

A big thank you goes out to both Pastor Bane, and Pastor Owen for their hospitality and their true spirit of Christianity which pervades both of their churches!

Carolyn and I were able to go over to Dunlap yesterday to help my mother celebrate her birthday. We enjoyed some good BBQ, her special deviled eggs (why do they call some of the BEST food "devil's" (like devil's food cake, and devilled eggs, etc)? It was fun to reminisce with her about the "good old days", grin!

Carolyn and I are off to Phoenix to visit with her Grandfather and Father and Step-Mother. Grandpa George will be celebrating his 102nd birthday on the 6th. We are still praying for an inroad into his salvation, so pray with us for THAT!
