Where we're at in our Nicaragua move
We have raised our personal support to live in Nicaragua. What a relief and blessing it is to be able to say that! Hallelujah!
ALTHOUGH IT MAY NOT SOUND LIKE IT, THIS EMAIL IS A CRY FOR HELP FROM OUR CHRISTIAN BRETHREN.
What THAT means is that we will more than likely NOT starve to death once we move to Nicaragua. What is doesn't mean, is that God has released the necessary funds to operate the aircraft, and perform our mission, upon our arrival into Puerto Cabezas. We are wondering when God will make this move, as to us, it appears to be the "next step".
Please help us to bring awareness to our Christian brothers and sisters of our need in this area, as God will make his mighty move through some of YOU, if you allow Him to do so.
Your many prayers concerning our house have borne fruit! It now appears likely that we will be able to rent our house out while we are living in Nicaragua. God has shown us the wisdom of retaining our abode for a future retirement, or possibly for other purposes which He has foreseen in our lives. The retention of our house gives us another opportunity for praise, and for prayer. We praise God for having ultimate wisdom and dominion in our lives, and pray to God that He will help us to keep good renters in the house and that no major difficulties will ensue. We are praying that in the next two weeks we will have the house settled (rented). Pray with us for that, please!
We have six commitments with churches in the Southeastern United States to share our mission with their congregations in the next three months. We are currently thinking, and praying for guidance, on the scheduling of our move to Nicaragua. We can use your prayers, and advice on this also.
On July 1rst, we will be in the Waynesboro, TN area for three different presentations to congregations, and Pastors. We hope to enlighten the Waynesboro area as to our mission and to raise support for the operation our mission in La Moskitia. Schedule wise, we can make that trip easily. We know that the Waynesboro area abounds with the faithful, and pray that God will show these congregations how He may use them to further His Kingdom! We have been to this area before, and need your prayers that Pastor Bane, and Pastor Owen will find resources that have as yet been unavailable in that area to strengthen God's desires in La Moskitia, through us. Please pray for this!
Casa de Servicio, and it's mission in La Moskitia is in need of financial support, and that means we are in need of prayer! I have been presented with an opportunity to take part in a short-term deployment to Iraq with a contract company as a pilot.
I would be paid handsomely for this three month-long deployment, and have been considering doing it. If I did this, it would necessitate a delay in our move to Nicaragua. On reflection, delaying our move for what amounts to purely financial reasons, no matter the intent, seems to be an attempt by Satan to delay our move. We are praying for clarity in this.
If we wanted to delay the true implementation of our move for financial reasons, we could easily justify doing so, we could simply retain our jobs at Flight Options. But the point of God's call in our life is to conduct this mission for His Kingdom, and to sacrifice our lives to service to Him. So I am currently thinking that the move should go forward as speedily as possible. We sure could use YOUR help (financially, AND prayerfully) to encourage us that we are thinking straight on this matter.
Dios le bendiga grandemente a su familia y ministerio.
