Lots to do
I am sitting here in Phoenix, AZ about to have lunch with my in-laws (George, Jerry and Margie). I know that they have had some minor reservations with the path that God has called us to accomplish.
I see this as an opportunity to share with them exactly what it is that we are led to accomplish in Nicaragua working with the Moskito Indian peoples. I intend to openly and honestly invite ALL their questions. Unfortunately, we only have an hour for lunch, as I am off to Napa, CA and then to Bakersfield, and then to Tucson and on to San Francisco after that today (being a pilot, my job takes me all over the country...and beyond).
I beseech you for your prayers. There has been an issue with Carolyn's grandfather (George) having an aversion to religion in general. G'pa George has long ago decided that religion is a bunch of fairy tales, and stories. Wow, it pains me just to WRITE that. G'pa George will be 102 years old in nine days, so please pray that God will make a way to open his eyes, and his heart to Jesus.
We also have much to do to this upcoming week.
We are meeting with the congregation of Pastor Richard Banes church on Sunday morning (the 1rst) in Collinwood, TN and Sunday night with Pastor Owen in Waynesboro, TN. We pray that God will touch their hearts for our ministry and that God will give us the words to impart our calling to them. Pray with us, please.
We are still considering the purchase (if God brings the funds) of a small Cessna140 aircraft. This little bitty airplane would be an ideal tool for training the indigenous people to become missionary pilots. It is a "largish" expense, but essential. The timing may or may not be right, please help us to figure that one out......by prayer, of course.
Carolyn and I always value your input, and advice. Don't hesitate...if God lays a word on your heart for us, then send it along.
Dios le bendiga grandemente a su familia y ministerio.
