Well...we had a glorious time this past weekend
Carolyn and I were once again highly blessed this past weekend. We participated in Saturday afternoons Missions Banquet at the Family Church in Dayton, TN. On Sunday we were blessed to have the opportunity to speak at the Watts Bar Church of God (in the morning) and the Graysville Church of God Sunday evening.
I cannot say ENOUGH about the experiences we had at both places. Pastor Ken Goins (and his wife Connie) at the Watts Bar Church of God made us extremely comfortable and we felt very welcomed by the entire congregation. Some members of the congregation went out of their way to make us feel welcomed, and offered to participate in our ministry too! Thank you SO VERY MUCH for having us into your church Pastor Goins! We look forward to continuing this new relationship with Pastor Goins, and his faithful congregation.
If anyone over there at the Watts Bar Church of God (or anyone else for that matter) knows of someone that may be interested in hearing about our ministry, let me know and I WILL FOLLOW UP on that.
As always, we felt welcomed and "at home" at Pastor Jimmy Talley's(and his wife Rene's) Graysville Church of God. We have taken the opportunity on several occasions (since we live fairly nearby) to visit the Graysville Church of God, just to "have church". Carolyn and I always try to "sneak in the back", but we always seem to get spotted. The Graysville Church of God has sort of "adopted" Carolyn and I. THAT is something that blesses our hearts immensely! (The only other Church that has taken us "under their wings" as much as Graysville has been the House to House Ministry in Ocala, Fl. Pastor Sandy Blower (in Ocala) and Russ and Connie Cooke have almost literally adopted us. We can't even pass through Florida anymore without staying at LEAST one night in Connie and Russ's house. Praise God for the fellowship He provides!
Sister Rene (Pastor Talley's wife) at the Graysville Church of God was in rare form last Sunday. Those of you that live nearby, and want to hear some Godly, Blessed, and talented singing need to stop in over there! It isn't just Rene's singing either. That Graysville choir is REALLY, REALLY SOMETHING else! I don't know if they were great before Sister Rene got to them or not...but they are truly, truly wonders NOW. That little Graysville Church has "something special". Make the trip if you can, it's just south of Dayton, just off of Hwy 27.
I'll write more later,
God Bless.
Dios le bendiga grandemente a su familia y ministerio.
