New Ellenton, SC report
Hi Folks,
WOW. Carolyn and I were blessed to be able to meet some GREAT FOLKS at the Grace Covenant Church of God in New Ellenton, SC on October 21rst and 22nd. It is rare for us to walk into a church and feel so immediately at home. We stayed overnight at the house of Charles and Cheryl Mathews, some truly awesome folks. In addition to performing their new duties as Missions Coordinators, Cheryl is a piano teacher and professional musician. We had some truly wonderful fellowship with this blessed couple.
Pastor Geier of Grace Covenant was very helpful in getting us oriented and making us feel completely welcome. When I first called Pastor Geier up he made me feel completely welcomed and cared for. I don't think we have EVER had an experience like this one. The church, from Pastor Geier right down to the individuals in the congregation were very STRONG missions supporters. It was a marvelous experience, which we were blessed to take part in!
We were able to speak to the congregation at Grace Covenant on Sunday morning during the missions service. Anyone that is interested in seeing and hearing the presentation which Carolyn and I made, or hearing a little bit more about our mission may download and play the tape from the following link:

We were blessed to share our time in New Ellenton, SC with another missionary family, Debbie (mom), Melissa (daughter), and Jose (son), (unfortunately the Dad couldn't make it [Israel]). The Maynais (hope I spelled that correctly), are missionaries to Cambodia. They work with children and Christians in areas that have never had the chance to hear the Gospel. Bless them for their work!
God bless you all!
