Origination of this part of CDS:
It started with a chance meeting of myself (Richard Becton, flight@flash.net ), my wife
Carolyn and the "new" pastor of our church in Rhode Island. The new Pastor, (Vincent
Castellani, D.Min.) Vinny, indicated an interest in learning to fly airplanes. As it
happened my wife at that time was a flight instructor and so Vinny began taking flying
lessons. This friendship between the three of us developed into a lifelong one. Our two
families seemed to be very close spiritually, and philosophically and to have
predominantly the same attitudes about spiritual matters. Carolyn and I have always
had a deep desire to further God's work in some small way. In fact we are constantly
looking for ways to benefit His kingdom and be in service to His people. Over a period
of time we expressed these desires to "Pastor Vinny" and through God, Vinny guided us
and helped us to make Casa de Servicio a reality.
The organization started on that basis, two sets of Christian friends working together
to accomplish God's Great Commission.
